When I was 16, I got irritated with my dad when he told me I needed to check my oil.
I remember thinking: Why do I have to check it?! I am not a mechanic. Not my job.
Needless to say- my little blue Vega guzzled oil like crazy and I was ALWAYS having to check it and add oil or the dang thing wouldn’t run. 🙄
It’s interesting that I just expected the car to work - despite any warning light blinking at me.
Is this real for anyone and their health?
Do we just expect our body to work no matter what the warning lights are?
Dismissing the alerts, and if we dismiss them enough- or the longer we let them accumulate, things start to break down and even go out of commission. This costs us way more and we miss out on life, time with our loved ones, time doing the things we want to do.
And still- how many of us ignore the warning lights?
Let’s work on managing/ maintaining our best body health!
